Experts have stated that good jobs will require basic fluency in computer programming within the next ten years, but most educators have never had the opportunity to learn how to build this proficiency in their students. In this course, you will learn basic programming concepts and have the opportunity to build a few sample programs in Scratch, build your own webpage in HTML and CSS, and well as preview other programming languages and platforms that go beyond introductory coding concepts to build more advanced skills. We'll discuss ways to introduce coding projects that integrate with other parts of your curricula to create meaningful experiences to help turn your students into digital creators.
